Today we are making a delicious Pork Tenderloin with a delicious Honey Garlic sauce to accompany it, So without further to do, let’s get cooking!

Here’s a list of everything you need:

  • Pork tenderloin(s) (1lb each) (Available Here!)
  • 1 1/2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves (Finely chopped)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 3 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 1/2 tbsp soy sauce, light or all purpose
  • 1/2 cup honey

Now let’s talk a little bit about Pork Tenderloin. A tenderloin is an extremely lean and easy to cook piece of meat, think of it like a chicken breast meaning that not only is it absolutely delicious and juicy if it is cooked properly but it is also incredibly easy to overcook which will result in it being very dry. The other great news about tenderloin is the fact that just like the name implies, tenderloins are naturally very tender making this not only a great meal item for families since you can often buy them in packages of two but also because not only are they easy to make, they can convert even the pickiest of eaters into tenderloin lovers. Okay, now we can start cooking!

First up, you are going to want to preheat your oven right off the bat to 350ºF and then get ready to make the sauce part of the recipe. In a bowl, combine your apple cider vinegar, your soy sauce and your honey together. Let that sit off to the side for a minute.

Next, you’re going to be making the rub for the outside of the tenderloin. In a bowl, mix together your garlic powder, paprika, salt and pepper. Once these are all combined very well, sprinkle this mixture onto your tenderloins and massage the mix into the meat. Next up, preheat your oil in a large oven safe pan or skillet over high heat. Add in your tenderloin(s) and sear until all of the exterior is golden. Once these are almost done searing, add in your finely chopped garlic and continue cooking until the garlic is a nice golden colour.

Once your garlic is cooked and golden and your tenderloin has been seared to perfection, pour in your sauce mixture but be sure to give it a little stirr since it has been sitting off to the side for the past few minutes. Be sure to pour your sauce over the tenderloin and really thoroughly coat it. Then transfer it into the oven immediately. Bake your tenderloin in its sauce for about 15 - 18 minutes.

Finally, remove your tenderloin and place it onto a plate and cover it with foil. Then, place the skillet back onto the stove and bring your remaining sauce to a quick simmer and allow it to reduce and thicken. Slice your tenderloin and drizzle your sauce over each serving.
