Hooray! We’ve made it day 8 of our 12 days to Unconventional Christmas countdown! This probably means that you have either finished all your Christmas shopping and now want to kick back and relax or you are still rushing to find that perfect gift for your amazing family members even though they drive you nuts and need something to just help you unwind. Well, today we are here with an amazing holiday drink that will have you saying “Well, it’s Five O’clock somewhere”. We are making a Cranberry Mimosa! (p.s don’t forget to pair this with our Quiche from day 6, you can thank me later)

Here’s what you will need:

  • A Champagne Flute
  • Champagne or Sparkling wine if you are trying to hold onto that special bottle of bubbly
  • Cranberry Juice
  • Cranberry Ginger Ale (Optional to add a little more bubbles to the mix)

Now let’s get to it.

First, take your champagne flute and fill it about half way with your Sparkling wine or Champagne.

Next up, add in your cranberry juice either to the top or to ¾ full and then add in your Cranberry Ginger Ale!

Finally, for garnishing do not be afraid to add in some frozen fruit or fresh Cranberries. To make it seem even more festive, you can always buy some white sugar crystals and rim your glass with this to simulate snow around the edge!

Let us know what you decided to pair this drink with as of course it might be viewed as a breakfast drink but can very easily carry you all the way to dinner as it is light and perfect with almost any meal! Happy Holidays everyone!
